MUSICALITY

If you want to dance bachata with more confidence and have fun then you need to understand bachata musicality. This is how dancers hear, interpret, and dance to music.

Timing

You will learn the basic rhythms of Derecho, Majao, and Mambo with step by step instruction of bongó, güira, bass, rhythm guitar, and requinto patterns.

Partnerwork

Learn to connect to your partner. Bachata is a social dance and as such you need a partner to dance with to really enjoy the beauty of this dance. Learn how to lead and follow.

Footwork

Lots of people are attracted to doing fancy footwork, syncopations, etc. In order to pull these off and look cool, you need to understand musicality and timing, plus have someone teach you some cool footwork patterns.
