This is bachata moderna which is a fusion of bachata with moves from salsa, raggaeton, swing and elements from other dance genres. There is nothing wrong with incorporating, but u don’t want to lose the identity of the dance itself. Putting ur leg in between that of ur partner’s comes from Mexican music and? all the wiggling reminds me of reggeaton. This is not to make any of u defensive. It is just my opinion on what I saw. Overall, excellent. (Chris: Not my opinion, but a valid observation made by another dancer).
