Good Leader/Good Follower
From the desk of Chris Thomas:
Here’s a question I sometimes think about a lot, “Are good leaders/followers born or created?”(speaking strictly about social dancing. of course). Guys like Carlos Cinta, I believe, have certain natural abilities that set them apart, however, there are some habits or techniques that guys like that use to make their lead so sweet that the rest of us can copy with great success.
The same I believe is true for the ladies who can learn a lot by watching ladies who know how to follow and make their partner look good (no matter if the lead is a beginner or an advanced dancer).
So in this section we will turn the bachata spotlight here at gotbachata.com on some of the world’s bachata dancers that I think deserve a second look. Of course, by this I am not endorsing anyone’s dance style nor by omission am I saying some bachata instructor is not good enough to make this list by comparison.
I leave it up to you steal with your eyes moves you like and take in the lessons these leaders/followers have to share with us.
