Bachata Musicality: Lead guitar
This video shows one of the best bachata lead guitarist in the world and bachata vocalist, Joan Soriano playing a bachata song called “Cuando Vuelvas”.

The requinto, or bachata lead guitar, is the second voice of bachata; second only to the vocal stylings of the singer. A true virtuoso performance can transport you to a different place and time. A really good lead guitarist can use his instrument to tell a story and with forid riffs and finger work cause you to make a bachata “showerface”.
